It’s happened at least once to any girl. You’re all decked out, rocking a low-cut neckline with no bra, and suddenly people are very interested in your chest area. Must be that new shiny pendant you just got, right? Wrong, you’ve had a wardrobe malfunction. There are ways to avoid these embarrassing situations. Here’s a few tips and tricks to help you avoid any fashion faux-pas.
Double-Stick Tape
You cannot live without this! If you wear low-cut necklines, especially with looser tops or dresses, double-stick tape will be your bestest friend. This will help prevent slipping straps, falling hems, gapping blouse fronts, and really whatever you can think to use it for. Try Hollywood Fashion Tape which is hypoallergenic, gentle on fabrics and comes pre-cut.
There’s other brands out there too, and if you’re on a budget, regular double-stick scotch tape works too.

Hollywood Fashion Tape $8.99
Breast Petals
There are times when you just can’t wear a bra with that cute top or dress. You don’t want straps showing, so you decide to let the girls be free. The one thing you don’t want to do is get cold and have your nips at full attention. Breast Petals are perfect for this situation. They’re comfortable and they cover up. Plus if your double-stick tape fails you, at least you’re not offering everyone the full show. Nordstrom Intimates Reusable Breast Petals are great. If you want to be a bit flashier, you can get some colorful stars and hearts from the Hustler store in Hollywood. You can buy them from Hustler online too, but the site is NSFW so beware.

Backless Bra
If you need to go braless for a backless top but still want a little support, backless bras are a good option. I think girls are divided on the sticky bra products, but if it works for you then go ahead and do it. Prices range from $20 to $65.

Kymaro Backless Bra $19.95
Underarm Shield
If you sweat a lot and like to wear tight jackets, try getting an underarm shield. The cotton discs adhere to the inside of your clothing and prevent wet marks and yellow stains. It’s great because it lengthens the time between dry cleaning trips.

Garment Guard $10.95
Panty Lines
To avoid panty lines, wear lighter nylon panties without any tight seams that will cut into your skin. Seamless boyshorts work well. G-strings are also great, just make sure that your g-string lines aren’t showing either. So tacky!

Shimera Seamless Boyshorts $13
Deodorant Stains
Ugh. Happens to everyone. On annoyance level, it’s up there with makeup smudges, pet hair, and baby spit-up. Skid-Out are these little sponges that claims to remove all of these things. Haven’t tried them but they sound really handy.

Skid Out $4.95
Slipping Feet
Sometimes your killer-heeled sandals cause a bit of foot slide. Bunched up toes in the front area don’t look pretty. It’s also uncomfortable and can cause foot issues. You can get heel pads that are cushioned and prevent slide. FootPetals.com has a whole bunch to choose from in different colors.
Haute Heels $9.50
Are there any fix-it favorites that you like to use? Or maybe budget versions? We’d love to know!
