For starters, she looked ridiculously amazing in a short, sparkly, black Oday Chakar dress that proved you can show plenty of skin and still look like a grown up.  A plunging back plus long sleeves plus just short enough skirt and sky high nude heels was a recipe for easy but tasteful sex appeal that looked so effortless that I can only hope that the rest of you Frockable fashionistas were taking notes, cuz I sure was.

Then there was her pitch perfect speech, which addressed the woes that have plagued her life in the last few months without slipping into defensiveness, desperation or self pity.  Sandra was funny, commanding, accepting of her own mistakes (she thanked Bradley Cooper for still calling her a friend despite the fact that “the only movie he’s ever been in that bombed was the one I made”), and radiantly proud to be exactly who she is.

Oh, and did we mention that she made out a little bit with Scarlett Jo?  So it was a blatant publicity stunt, do we care? Nah.  We just love these ladies for being hilarious, sexy, stylish and confident.  Sandra may have told former co-star Betty White that, “I want your life,” but, while we applaud her choice of role model, it must be said, you’re doing a pretty great job of being a role model yourself, Sandy.  We’re glad to hear you’re not going anywhere!

Sandra Bullock proved, once again, that being awesome is the best revenge with her acceptance speech for the MTV Generations Award.
