Years ago I had these little gold refillable eyebrow pencils, they worked just like fancy mechanical pencils and it’s been so long that I can’t even remember the name of the company who made them. To me, they were the best eyebrow pencils ever and when they were discontinued I almost wept…and then purchased as many of the refills that I could get my hands on. Once I ran out of refills, I switched to using powder on brows but I was always on the look out for a pencil that worked as well as the wonderpencils.

Dior Diorshow Brow Styler Ultra-Fine Precision Brow Pencil (whew, that’s a mouthful) comes pretty close to those pencils I used to love. It’s a fined tipped mechanical pencil that comes in one shade and has a grooming brush included on one end. I was a little apprehensive about it only coming in one color, as I have black eyebrows and was impressed that it actually blended in well. The tip of this pencil is super fine which is great if you are only filling in holes or a missing tail and the brush blends it all together for full, natural looking brows.

I must admit, eyebrows are my obsession and I am very particular about what I use on them. Diorshow Brow Styler, while not the cheapest brow product around is easy and convenient to use. I love that it never needs sharpening and is much more portable than brow powder. It’s still not my little gold pencil but it’s a good replacement and anything that makes my make up bag smaller is o.k. with me.
