I’m a sucker for jewelry and fashion pieces that get their inspiration from happy childhood memories, and so it’s really no surprise that I love these Mexican Friendship Bracelets from designer Sara Beltran. They’re part of her new beach inspired collection called Dezso and feature colorful woven bracelets with a pretty precious metal seashell or shark’s tooth for added charm. Beltran travels the world visiting different beaches for inspiration, and the shell charms are often casts of real seashells she’s picked up and saved during her many excursions. She favors pink gold and brightly woven patterns (with the colors inspired by the ocean and special memories from her life) but the bracelets come in all shades and with charms in pink gold, yellow gold, and white gold. Perfect for mixing and matching, for wearing all in a big bunch on your arm as you swim in the pool or lounge on the beach, and for trading with your girlfriends just like in the good ‘ol days.

Sara Beltran got her start as a stylist before getting into design, and although she spent 12 years living in New York she currently resides in Mumbai and Jaipur. Her collection is available in stores across the country and in Europe.
