Cynthia Vincent for Target launched yesterday…and is now sold out online. Well, not all the styles, but the must-have gladiator platform wedges, printed flats and printed wedges have all been snapped up. Word on the web is that the fashionably inexpensive shoe line hit Target stores days early. I’m sure there were some early birds waiting outside Target’s doors Sunday morning to be sure they didn’t miss out on the $29.99 deal. For those that missed the boat, check your local store or two to see if the wedges are still available, or if they’ve even stocked them in the first place. Fortunately, the mustard-yellow, strappy-ring sandals are still online and are actually quite nice in person.
The next designer collaboration to drop is Zac Posen for Target, which will be available from April 25 to May 30. Unless you’re a New Yorker, at which point you’re already shopping the collection. And after that, it looks to be Tucker by Gaby Basora, an up-and-coming New York designer best known for her vibrant, patterned silk blouses.
Target has been collaborating hard and we’re loving the recent capsule collections from Rodarte and Gaultier. Looking forward to more great designers taking up the challenge of bringing great style to a lower pricepoint.
